Peter Fisher has done extensive research in the course of writing (and revising, and revising! - it's a soul-threatening game!) the draft of a novel, The God Machine, which deals with key aspects of our themes. He writes:

[Attached] are the questions I sent to Jane Goodall; the handwritten answers are hers.  This is dated 2003, so some of the issues may have moved on since then.  As you will be able to gather I contacted her as part of the research for my novel "The God Machine": sadly still not published and currently undergoing yet another rewrite.  I've also included a summary of the discussion I had with Franz deWaal at the conference at the LSE at around about the same time.

I hope you can make out Jane's answers ok.  If you want me to clarify, please let me know.
