You find in Plato the roots or seedlings of almost all of the issues pursued by philosophers since.
His solutions rarely convince (me, anyway!), but most of his writings are stuffed with arguments, a philosophical feast.
Most are cast in the form of 'dialogues', not like modern textbooks, and offer one clear model of what philosophising is.
In this module we stick mostly with one Dialogue, the Meno, which is short and quite readable (as many of them are), and explore the main issues it raises.
