Where and when the module is run

When a class in support of this module is running in Preston we keep the distance edition in step.

The module has the formal launch date of Friday 28th September.

But the materials are now fully available.

Module Tutor

I have been concerned in my teaching and writing with environmental issues since they first rose into recent Western consciousness through the work of Rachel Carson's Silent Spring in 1962.

I have been teaching and helping run MAVE since its launch. Two MAVE colleagues and I published Environment and Philosophy in 2000.

These days I devote half my publishing effort to the serious cultivation of the website which supports this module. For the other half I foucus on the wider history of Western philosophy.
